• Scope of work: The final written contract governs the scope of work. Any modifications to scope after contract signing must be agreed to in writing as a change order.
• Site conditions: Estimates are based on observable site conditions at the time of the site visit. Hidden conditions (underground utilities, subsurface obstructions, soil contamination) that could not reasonably be identified at the time of estimate may result in additional costs. We will notify you before proceeding if such conditions are encountered.
• Permits: When permits are required, permit costs may be listed separately from labor and materials. Permit timelines are controlled by the permitting authority, not Orange Concrete Company, and may affect project start dates.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each project. Typical terms include:

• A deposit due at contract signing.
• Progress payments at agreed milestones.
• Final payment due upon project completion.

We do not accept payment for work before a written contract is signed. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract. Under California law, we are entitled to record a mechanic's lien on your property if payment is not received as agreed.

5. Licensing and Compliance

Orange Concrete Companyholds a valid California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) C-8 Concrete Contractor license and carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by California law. All work is performed in compliance with applicable building codes and permit requirements. You may verify our license status at cslb.ca.gov.

6. Warranties

Orange Concrete Company warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards for concrete construction in Southern California. Specific warranty terms, including duration and coverage, are outlined in the written contract for each project.

General limitations apply:

• Hairline surface cracking is inherent in concrete and is not considered a defect. Control joints are placed to manage cracking; their placement does not guarantee crack-free concrete.
• Color variations are inherent to decorative concrete finishes including stamped, stained, and exposed aggregate surfaces.
• Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, heavy overloading beyond specified design limits, or modifications made by others after project completion.

7. Cancellation and Delays

Either party may cancel a project prior to work commencing by providing written notice. Cancellation terms, including any non-refundable deposit provisions, are specified in the written contract.

Orange Concrete Company is not responsible for project delays caused by weather, permit authority timelines, material supply shortages, acts of God, or other circumstances outside our control. We will communicate schedule changes as promptly as possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orange Concrete Company's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific work from which the claim arises. In no event shall Orange Concrete Companybe liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from our services that cannot be resolved informally between the parties shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation before initiating any litigation. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action shall be brought in the appropriate court in Orange County, California. California law provides contractors and homeowners specific rights under the Contractors State License Law and the Right to Repair Act (Civil Code §895 et seq.).
